After almost a decade in the wedding industry, and 100+ weddings, I’ve decided it’s time to share my experience with others who desire to turn their dream into a successful full-time business. 

Because here’s the truth: anyone can have & run a successful small business but 50% of small businesses fail within the first five years. Why? Because it takes a lot of intentional hard work and constant growth to successfully run a small business.

Want to spend more time together and have a hands-on learning experience? This will be the option for you! I will be offering a limited number of in-person mentorship days in Steubenville, Ohio. For 6 hours, you can ask me any questions you want. I will sit down with you and walk you through any trouble areas ranging from shooting and editing to organization and workflow, branding and graphic design, and more. You will leave with an action plan to target your weaker areas and confidence in moving forward and growing your business! 

This in-person experience will include lunch at a local Steubenville spot and we will end with me taking brand-new headshots of you to use on your website and social media! 

TIME: 6 hours
COST: $650

On average, it takes about six months to see the results of consistent hard work and new changes and so I wanted to design a program that would walk you through those first six months. I wanted to design a program that could be tailored specifically to each person and would be uniquely fitted for your individual needs and business goals. 

Each month we will have a 90-minute coaching call where we will review your previous month’s growth, and dive deeper into potential problem areas. You will leave each monthly coaching call with homework to work on over the following month. Throughout the six months, you will also receive access to exclusive educational content such as my email templates, master wedding spreadsheet, workflow guides, and more.

COST: $199/month or $950 one time payment

WHY MENTORSHIP PROGRAMS?

I wouldn’t be where I am today without having invested my time and money into learning from other photographers and small business owners who were where I wanted to be. My business transformed and grew as I intentionally took time to learn and implant what I learned from others. 

And now it’s time to share what I’ve learned with you! 

Whether you are new to the photography world and just need someone to help you with the actual shooting and editing part or you are a photographer wiz who is simply struggling with the business side of things (because let’s be honest, as artists, our strong suit is not usually in the business realm), I’m here for you! 

While my expertise lies specifically in running a successful photography business, if you run a different small business but need help with building better workflow systems, pricing, social media, branding, client experience, or much more, I’m here for you too! 

THE APPLICATION PROCESS

I have decided to offer THREE different mentorship programs with the intention of meeting a variety of needs & budgets. But there is also only a very limited number of spots available for each of these three different programs. 

Since spots are so limited, there is an application process to join one of the mentorship programs. After your initial inquiry, I will send you a short application that will give me more details on what your needs are and determine if you are a good fit for one of the mentorship programs. 

Within 48hours of submitting your application, you will hear back from me and if you are accepted, you will receive a mentorship welcome email & a questionnaire to prepare me for your mentorship session.

Frequently Asked Questions

DO I HAVE TO BE A PHOTOGRAPHER TO HAVE A MENTORSHIP SESSION? 

Am I committing to a mentorship session if I apply? 

Nope! While my expertise does lie specifically in running a wedding photography business, there are so many aspects of running a successful small business that would apply to much more than just wedding photography. Social media, branding, website design, workflow systems, preparing for taxes, client management, and managing a good work/life balance are just a few examples of things that would apply to a variety of small businesses. 

Not at all! There is zero commitment when you apply for a session! If I approve your application you will be sent an invoice and you will commit to your session once you’ve paid for it! 

What would be a reason you would decide someone is not a good fit? 

One reason would be if someone was looking for help with something I am not qualified or experienced enough to offer help with, for instance, specific help and questions about filing taxes (I use a CPA and I am not a certified accountant by any means). Another example would be creating and running social media ads. I have not ever paid for any advertisement on facebook or instagram so I would not be the person to go to for help in that area. 

Another reason might be that they run a very different business than me and are looking for help with things I don’t have in my business, such as running an Etsy shop or questions about finding out the right licensing they need for their business. 

Do you offer payment plans? 

I am not offering payment plans for the Zoom Session but the In-Person Session could be broken down into two payments and the Six Month Program can be paid monthly or one payment upfront at a slightly lower cost. 

Will you travel for an in-person mentor session? 

No, not right now. I potentially will consider it in the future but for now, all in-person sessions will be taking place in Steubenville, Ohio and you would be responsible for your own travel and lodging if you are coming in from out of town.
