I believe in pursuing authentic life and telling real stories with all their unfiltered & raw emotions, their imperfections and quirks and everything in between because I know that every single person has a unique story that is wildly beautiful. And I believe that each person deserves to have their story told.
Every wedding I have ever photographed has been such a joy and privilege to be a part of. It is a humbling and crazy thing to be entrusted with the job of capturing the most important day of someone's life and I do not take my job lightly. But after seven years, I can honestly say that weddings truly are one of my favorite things in the world and I love everything about them: the excitement and adrenaline rush, all the beautiful details and colors, the emotions and smiles, and of course all the beautiful portraits. But what I have loved even more than the wedding days themselves are the friendships I have formed with my IMK Couples which have lasted well beyond their wedding days.
You see, I believe that wedding photography is about way more than pretty pictures. You deserve to not only have gorgeous images documenting the most exciting day of your life, but also to have an incredible EXPERIENCE that goes far beyond the 24 hours of your wedding day. You deserve to have a wedding photographer who will relieve stress from your wedding day instead of adding pressure, a wedding photographer who will take the time to learn the names of your parents and siblings and best friends so everyone feels included and seen on your wedding day, a wedding photographer who cares about you as a person and about your love story as the unique and incredible story that it is. You deserve a wedding photographer who will become your friend and who truly knows you and thus is able to truly tell your story through their images.
My approach to photography is fueled by this desire to truly get to know my couples and treat their love stories with the sacredness they deserve. Through creating atmospheres where genuine emotion and intimate connection can happen, I am able to authentically tell their stories through the lens of my camera.

THE

Step One:
Becoming Friends
As your wedding photographer I will spend more time with you on your wedding than you will spend with any other person (including your fiancé!) and that's one of the reasons why it's so important to me that we not only get along, but that we have truly formed a solid friendship that will last beyond your wedding day. The IMK Bride is a unique and beautiful soul who connects with me and who feels safe and comfortable knowing she's under my care. Since it's my desire to have much more than the typical vendor/client relationship with my couples, it is essential that we feel like we are a perfect match for one another! Once you've contacted me and we've determined that we truly are a perfect match, it's time to start the booking process!

Step Two:
Secure the Date
After we have gotten to know each other a little bit and have decided that we are a perfect fit, the next step is to make sure your date is available and then I will send you a custom booking proposal where you can review your package and contract, pay your retainer and make everything official! After officially booking, you will receive a special welcome package in the mail with an exclusive IMK Bridal Guide full of 70+ pages of information designed to get you excited and to help you have a stress-free and amazing wedding day!

Step Three:
The Engagement Session
After you are officially an IMK Couple the next step is to schedule your engagement session! We will work together to find the perfect locations for your session and then we will spend an hour together where your only job is to love on your favorite human. I will guide the two of you the entire time so there's no pressure on you! Within 15-20 minutes of your session, you will be relaxed and having fun. Even if you don't think you're photogenic or you dislike PDA or your fiancé hates taking pictures, I promise that you both will walk away having had a great time and making some fantastic memories. You'll also feel much more prepared for your wedding day and hopefully less stressed about all those wedding day portraits.

Step Four:
Timeline Prep
Once we're about 8 weeks out from your wedding it will be time to start thinking about your timeline! I will be available throughout the months leading up to your wedding to answer any wedding questions you have about anything and everything (photography related or not) concerning your wedding planning. I also would love to help you craft the perfect timeline that guarantees you not only have a stress-free wedding day with plenty of cushion space, but that you also have time for all of those gorgeous, magazine-quality images you've always dreamed of. After seven years of photographing weddings, I know just how to create the perfect timeline that allows you to wake up on your wedding day completely relaxed and confident that the day is going to run smoothly and all you have to worry about is meeting the love of your life at the end of the aisle!

Step Five:
Your Wedding Day
The time has finally come! The countdown has ended, it is officially time for you to say "I do"! It's time for you to relax and me to get to work! I believe in telling the full story of each of my couples' wedding days so I will never shoot less than 8 hours. The day will pass in a rushing blur for you and your spouse-to-be and so I want to be there from beginning to end to capture every moment for you. One of my favorite parts of the day is when I get to steal you and your groom away for your portrait time and step back and let the two of you have a few intimate moments together, alone, and apart from the rush and craziness of the rest of the day. My couples always treasure these quiet moments alone and I love the unfiltered and raw emotion I am able to capture! I also love getting to see all the details I've been hearing about come together into the wedding of you dreams and meeting your friends and family who have gathered from all over to celebrate your love.

Step Six:
Your Featured Post
I don't believe in keeping my couples waiting weeks for their images with only a few sneak peaks on social media. So on the Wednesday following your wedding day, you will be featured on the IMK Blog and the highlights of your wedding day will take the spotlight! Receiving a full blogpost means you'll get to relive your day and easily share it with all of your friends and family while you're still on your honeymoon and everyone is still in the post-wedding Cloud 9 phase of excitement.

Step Seven:
Receiving Your Images
After your wedding day you will receive an online gallery with all of your wedding images (I promise there will be hundreds and hundreds of them). From your online gallery you will be able to easily download your images, save favorites, order prints, and share on social media. There's even a mobile app to make accessing your wedding images easier than ever. I love to encourage my couples to sit down together when their gallery arrives and take time to slowly relive their wedding day together. If you ordered an album, you will receive your initial album design shortly after your gallery has arrived and we will begin the customization process.
