Alyssa & Trevor’s wedding was my ninth and final fall wedding of the year, and I feel like we hit the peak fall colors this weekend! The day before, I was in New Jersey with Zenovia & Tanner and was already spoiled by gorgeous autumn tones, so I had a good feeling Alyssa & Trevor’s day would be just as beautiful—and it absolutely was.

While their wedding wasn’t my first time in Loretto, it was my first time photographing a wedding at The Home Farm Barn in Indiana, PA. The combination of these two locations made for such a lovely backdrop for the day.

We began the morning at The Home Farm Barn, where Alyssa and her girls got ready on the ground floor of the barn. There were so many great spots for photos that we were able to get a little creative with their getting-ready images. I especially loved the large windows near the entrance—and the pajama photos we took there are some of my favorites.

From there, we made our way to Saint Francis University—Alyssa & Trevor’s alma mater and the place where their story first began. Their Nuptial Mass took place at the beautiful Immaculate Conception Chapel. This was my second time photographing a wedding here, and I love how the architecture offers a few unique perspectives that allow the moments of the Mass to be captured in a really meaningful way.

After the ceremony, we spent time at Mount Assisi Gardens, which is always a must for photos when you’re getting married in Loretto. It’s beautiful in every season, but in the fall—when the leaves are at their peak, and the light feels especially soft—it’s hard to beat. Having photographed several weddings and sessions here, this time of year remains my favorite, and Alyssa & Trevor’s portraits are the perfect example of why I love it so much!

After wrapping up portraits at the gardens, we headed back to Indiana, PA for a few more photos outside The Home Farm Barn—including some trolley photos that might just be my favorite trolley photos I’ve taken so far. Then it was time to celebrate! Their reception took place on the upper level of the barn, featuring candlelit tables, an impressive Pittsburgh cookie table, and a dance floor that stayed full as the night went on.

Alyssa & Trevor, it’s been such a joy getting to know you both, and it was truly an honor to capture your beautiful wedding day.
