Eve & Nick are two of the sweetest people and I have been eagerly counting down the days to their wedding for over a year and half, ever since I did their engagement session in the early spring of 2019. They were originally scheduled to get married at the end of May, but ended up postponing their wedding a couple months in the hopes of things starting to open up again and weddings being allowed to have a few more guests.

All of their patient waiting and praying paid off and a few weeks ago Eve & Nick were married on a sweltering hot July day just a few hours north of Atlanta, Georgia. They were surrounded by their closest family and friends and were married in the absolutely beautiful St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Woodstock, GA.

Eve & Nick met at Franciscan University and each were members of households (FUS’s version of greek life). Their wedding party was filled with mostly household brothers and sisters and it was beautiful to see how loved Eve & Nick are both individually and as a couple by their college friends. Eve’s reveal with her bridesmaids in the morning was one of my favorite bridesmaid reveals (you’ll want to scroll down to catch those photos) and from the prayers right before the ceremony, to the joy and celebration afterwards, their friends were the very best support team and just so dang excited to witness this holy marriage take place.

The whole wedding party were troopers because during their photos it was almost 100°, the sun was out in full force, the humidity was real, and there was really hardly any shade to put them in. However, they all kept a joyful demeanor and managed to have fun despite sweating in the heat.

We ended the day at Vinny’s on Windward, an italian restaurant that they had rented out for their reception. The restaurant itself was a beautiful space, and Eve’s floral designer, Vicky from Bella Blooms Floral Designs did an incredible job with the floral arrangements.
