Anne & Dominic || Steubenville OH Engagement Session

Engagements

At the end of June I was able to meet up with Anne and Dominic in Steubenville, Ohio for their engagement session. The forecast was calling for thunderstorms all afternoon and evening, but this was the only day I would be in town so we just prayed and prayed for good weather and the storms never came and the sun even popped out for a glorious sunset at the end of their session. (Also, if you have read my last several blog posts, I probably am beginning to sound like a broken record with every single post mentioning how it was supposed to rain/storm but never did…but that was literally the story of June. Every single wedding and session had rain in the forecast and every time it miraculously held off or just never showed up.)

Anne & Dominic met at Franciscan University and so it was only fitting that we did their engagement session in the city that brought them together. We started off on Historic 4th Street, then headed up to Franciscan’s campus, and ended up at the Steubenville Overlook. I have been wanting to take portraits up at the overlook for a long while but never got around to it until this session and it was everything I hoped for plus more! The sun decided to break through the clouds while we were up there and it was so perfect.

I really enjoyed getting to know these two and hear about how they met and fell in love. They are so joyful and photogenic and they made my job incredibly easy. I can’t wait for their wedding later this year!

Xoxo,

Mary Kate
