Step One:
Becoming Friends + Choosing Your Style
This first step is all about getting to know one another and making sure we’re a natural fit because as your wedding photographer, I’ll spend more time with you on your wedding day than almost anyone else—often even more than your fiancé—which is why it matters so much to me that we genuinely connect and that you feel completely comfortable in my care! I want you to feel confident, relaxed, and excited as we move forward together.
This is also when you’ll choose the artistic style you want your photos documented through! You may already know exactly which style you’re drawn to, or you may want to talk it through together. If it's helpful, we can review your venue, church, color palette, and overall vision for your day to ensure the style you choose is the perfect fit for you! Once you've contacted me and we've determined that we truly are a perfect match, it's time to start the booking process!

Step Two:
Securing the Date
Once we’ve connected and decided we’re the right fit, the next step is securing your wedding date! I’ll confirm availability and send over a custom booking proposal where you can review your collection, sign your contract, and submit your retainer—making everything official.
After you’re officially booked, the fun continues! You’ll receive a special welcome package in the mail, including my exclusive Bridal Guide with over 70 pages of thoughtful guidance designed to help you feel excited, prepared, and completely at ease as you plan your wedding day.

After we have gotten to know each other a little bit and have decided that we are a perfect fit, the next step is to make sure your date is
available and then I will send you a custom booking proposal where you can review your package and contract, pay your retainer and make everything official! After officially booking, you will receive a special welcome package in the mail with an exclusive IMK Bridal Guide full of 70+ pages of information designed to get you excited and to help you have a stress-free and amazing wedding day!

THE EXPERIENCE
Step Three:
Engagement Session
Once you’re officially booked, we’ll schedule your engagement session—one of the most relaxing and enjoyable parts of the experience! I’ll guide you every step of the way, so there’s no pressure to “perform” or know what to do. Within the first 15–20 minutes, you’ll feel comfortable, at ease, and will genuinely be having fun—even if you don’t think you’re photogenic, aren’t big on PDA, or your fiancé insists he hates having his photo taken!
By the end of the session, you’ll walk away with beautiful memories, gorgeous images, and a newfound confidence that carries straight into your wedding day—making portraits feel easier, more natural, and far less stressful.

After you are officially an IMK Couple the next step is to schedule your engagement session! We will work together to find the perfect locations
for your session and then we will spend an hour together where your only job is to love on your favorite human. I will guide the two of you the entire time so there's no pressure on you! Within 15-20 minutes of your session, you will be relaxed and having fun. Even if you don't think you're photogenic or you dislike PDA or your fiancé hates taking pictures, I promise that you both will walk away having had a great time and making some fantastic memories. You'll also feel much more prepared for your wedding day and hopefully less stressed about all those wedding day portraits.

THE EXPERIENCE
Step Four:
The Timeline Call
About 6–8 weeks before your wedding, we’ll schedule a timeline call to go over all the details of your day. During this call, we’ll review your schedule from start to finish, making sure there’s plenty of cushion for a stress-free, joyful day.
If you need help building your timeline, I’ll guide you through it and help create one that balances all the moments you want to capture—including those gorgeous, magazine-quality images—while keeping your day relaxed and flowing smoothly. By the time your wedding arrives, you’ll feel confident, calm, and ready to simply enjoy the day!

Once we're about 8 weeks out from your wedding it will be time to start thinking about your timeline! I will be available to answer any
wedding questions you have about anything and everything (photography related or not) concerning your wedding planning. I also would love to help you craft the perfect timeline that guarantees you not only have a stress-free wedding day with plenty of cushion space, but that you also have time for all of those gorgeous, magazine-quality images you've always dreamed of. After seven years of photographing weddings, I know just how to create the perfect timeline that allows you to wake up on your wedding day completely relaxed and confident that the day is going to run smoothly and all you have to worry about is meeting the love of your life at the end of the aisle!

Step Five:
Your Wedding Day
The time has finally come! The countdown is over—it’s officially time for you to say “I do!” Your day will pass in a whirlwind, and I want to be there from beginning to end, capturing every moment for you.
One of my favorite parts of the day is stealing you and your spouse away for your portraits—a few quiet, intimate moments just for the two of you, away from the rush.
I also love seeing all the details come together—the flowers, the décor, the little touches you’ve imagined—and meeting the friends and family who have gathered from near and far to celebrate your love. Every part of your day is a story, and my goal is to preserve it beautifully, from start to finish.

The time has finally come! The countdown has ended, it is officially time for you to say "I do"! I believe in telling the full story of each of
my couples' wedding days so I will never shoot less than 8 hours. The day will pass in a rushing blur for you and your spouse-to-be and so I want to be there from beginning to end to capture every moment for you. One of my favorite parts of the day is when I get to steal you and your groom away for your portrait time and step back and let the two of you have a few intimate moments together, alone, and apart from the rush and craziness of the rest of the day. My couples always treasure these quiet moments alone and I love the unfiltered and raw emotion I am able to capture! I also love getting to see all the details I've been hearing about come together into the wedding of you dreams and meeting your friends and family who have gathered from all over to celebrate your love.

Sneak Peeks + Your Featured Post
I don’t believe in keeping my couples waiting for their wedding memories! Within the first week, you’ll get a gallery of 50–100 sneak peek images—just enough to relive the best moments and share the excitement with friends and family while everything is still fresh!
Then, within 2–3 weeks, your wedding will be featured on the IMK Blog. The full blog post highlights your day, letting you savor every moment, celebrate all the details, and share your story with the people who mean the most while you wait for your full gallery!

I don't believe in keeping my couples waiting weeks for their images with only a few sneak peaks on social media. So within 1-2 weeks after
your wedding, you wedding will be featured on the IMK Blog and the highlights of your wedding day will take the spotlight! Receiving a full blogpost means you'll get to relive your day and easily share it with all of your friends and family while you're still on your honeymoon and everyone is still in the post-wedding Cloud 9 phase of excitement.

Receiving Your Gallery
After your wedding day, you’ll receive your online gallery filled with hundreds of images capturing every moment, detail, and memory. From your gallery, you can easily download your favorites, save images, order prints, and share them with friends and family. There’s even a mobile app to make viewing and sharing your wedding photos easier than ever!
I love encouraging couples to sit down together when their gallery arrives and slowly relive the day, soaking in all the emotions and memories. If you’ve ordered an album, your initial design will arrive shortly after your gallery, and we’ll begin the customization process to create a keepsake you’ll treasure forever.

You get to choose which style you want prior to booking. If you are unsure of which style you like best I am happy to talk through your wedding details to help you figure out which style might capture your day best! I do not mix the two styles so once you have chosen your style, that is the style that all of your engagement and wedding photos will be edited and delivered in!
Yes, absolutely! In fact, all of my wedding packages INCLUDE all travel fees so you have no extra cost to worry about!
You will receive your engagement gallery within 2-4 weeks after your session and your full wedding gallery within 8-12 weeks after your wedding. I also send a sneak peek gallery with 50-75 images within the first week of your wedding, and then your wedding will be shared on my blog within the first few weeks!
Yes! The first $2100 is the non-refundable retainer fee required to book your date and your remaining balance is due 4 weeks before your wedding day. However, I am happy to break your remaining balance down into a customizable amount of smaller payments that you can pay off throughout the months leading up to your wedding.
While I don't promise an exact number of images, every wedding receives somewhere between 900-1200 fully edited full-resolution digital images in an online gallery that makes it easy to download and share with your family and friends!
In over 11 years, I’ve never missed a wedding—but I have a trusted network of professional photographers who share my values and artistic vision. If something truly unforeseen were to happen, I would ensure you’re fully cared for by someone I trust with your memories and your sacred day and I would still be the one to edit your photos after the wedding.
Most couples book between 6 to 12 months in advance, but I’ve had couples book as early as 18 months out or as close as 3 months before their date—so truly, there’s no “wrong” time to reach out! That said, I do take on a limited number of weddings per year to give each couple my full attention, and popular months like May, October, and December tend to book quickly. If you’re considering reaching out, don’t hesitate—I’d love to hear from you!
