Anna & Peter’s wedding on Divine Mercy Weekend could not have been a more beautiful spring wedding day.

Anna and Peter opted out of having getting ready photos so we started the day at the Church and took some time taking separate bridesmaids and groomsmen portraits. Shortly before the wedding ceremony began, Anna and Peter prayed together in a side room. Their Ceremony was in the historic St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Winston-Salem, NC. The stonework, woodwork, and stained glass windows, were all so stunning in this church!

After their ceremony, we took some time to capture all their portraits at a nearby garden before heading over to the venue, Millstone Events. Millstone Events was such a cool, unique venue with more historical elements and beautiful exposed wood beams everywhere. It was the perfect place for Anna & Peter’s reception as it fit their personalities and vibe so well!

One of the most memorable parts of their reception was when Peter performed a choreographed dance with a few friends to one of *NSYNC’s songs for Anna (a tradition from their time at Franciscan University and Peter’s household: Disciples of the Word). They did an amazing job!

Their evening also included sunset photos, an epic dance floor, some nighttime portraits on a trolley, and a fun glow stick exit!

Anna and Peter, it has been such a joy getting to know you both and it was an honor to photograph your wedding!
