Last Saturday, I had the joy of traveling to the charming town of Fremont, Ohio, for Blair and Dante’s wedding. I’d been eagerly anticipating this day ever since their engagement session last summer, and it didn’t disappoint! These two are so sweet and genuine, and from the very beginning, I knew their wedding would be something special. (Fun fact: I actually went to college with Dante’s older sister, and I had his dad as one of my theology professors and Senior year thesis advisor – gotta love the small Catholic world!)
Their wedding couldn’t have been more perfect for a June Saturday. The church was absolutely stunning, and their Nuptial Mass was such a joy to photograph and witness. I loved how their families were actively involved throughout the Mass—Dante’s sister did an incredible job with the music, and their grandmothers brought up the gifts, just to name a couple of examples!
After the ceremony, we made our way to a nearby location for portraits before stopping at a cozy local bar where the wedding party and newlyweds could unwind and enjoy a little break before the reception. It was such a fun, laid-back way to break up the day!
However, my favorite part of the day (at least photo-wise) was the sunset photos we took just before I had to head out. The light was chef’s kiss perfection, and I’m so in love with how those final portraits turned out!
Blair and Dante, thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to be a part of such a beautiful day. It was truly a joy to capture your wedding!
Xoxo,
Mary Kate
