A year and a half ago, I went on a mission trip with Franciscan University to Belize over spring break. Evan was one of the two student leads on the trip and he was an amazing leader and listener. While on the mission trip I heard the stories of how Evan had fallen in love with his girlfriend while they were both on the Belize trip the year before. I didn’t personally know Bridget, but I could tell how much she meant to Evan just by the way he talked about her.

Two and a half years after falling in love in the tiny country of Belize, Bridget and Evan became Mr. & Mrs. this past weekend on the most perfect October day (seriously, it was the IDEAL fall day). It was so great to finally meet Bridget and to see these two together. All day everyone kept telling Bridget that absolutely everything, from the flowers to her dress, to the decorations, was “so incredibly Bridget.” Her vision for her wedding came together perfectly and it was spectacular and everyone who knew her could tell just how much attention she had given every detail.

I had a wonderful time photographing Bridget & Evan’s wedding and it was such a joy to celebrate with their family and friends and I’m so happy to be able to share the story of their wedding today!
