When we pulled up to Gina and Joey’s wedding at the end of May, I knew immediately this was going to be an amazing day. Gina and Joey chose to have their wedding at “The Willow”, a brand-new venue in Johnstown PA with lots of natural light and panoramic mountain views and it provided an exquisite backdrop for their late spring wedding.

The forecast was calling for rain and as the girls were finishing getting ready, the skies opened up and we were hit with a torrential downpour. However, just a short while later, the storm had passed and the ground had dried up so we were still able to go outside for their first look and portraits. The original plan was to do their first look at their church, but we changed the location to the venue when the rain started as there was a few covered options we could use if we needed, and I’m so glad we pivoted because we got some of my favorite portraits of the day after their first look!

Their Nuptial Mass took place at Immaculate Conception Chapel on St. Francis University’s campus and following Mass we headed to Mount Assisi Gardens across the road for the rest of their wedding party and couple portraits.
