Liz & Abe’s classy wedding took place in Olean, NY at the end of November. Liz got ready at the Old Library Inn which was actually where her mom got ready for her wedding years ago. We even got to recreate some bridal portraits of Liz’s mom on the grand staircase with the stained glass windows with Liz!

It might have been a rainy and cold day, but that couldn’t take any of the joy away from this wedding! Liz & Abe both share a deep love for Christ and their Catholic faith and their Nuptial Mass at the gorgeous Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels in Olean, NY was absolutely beautiful! Liz went to Franciscan University and overlapped with me and that meant that some of my friends were at this wedding as well which made it extra special for me!

After their Mass finished, we headed around the block to the Old Library Restaurant where we took their wedding party photos. Because it was so cold and rainy, Liz & Abe opted to have all their wedding party photos taken inside the restaurant which made for such a fun and unique moody editorial vibe! By the time we finished their wedding party, the rain had stopped enough for us to go outside for some brief portraits of Liz & Abe before we finished up their photos at the grand staircase in the Old Library Inn right next door.

Their reception took place on the third floor of the Old Library Restaurant and was such a fun evening! I always love listening to the speeches at every wedding and one of the things that was so special about this one was that one of Abe’s brothers is a priest and one of his sisters is a religious sister and she had written a letter for Liz and Abe on their wedding day since she couldn’t attend it in person. Their brother, Fr. Manny, was able to read the letter out loud during the speeches and it was just incredibly beautiful to witness!
