Wildflowers, sage green and dusty blue accents, a huge white tent under a sweeping blue sky, twinkle lights, an epic veil, and so much joy sums up Mary Kate & Lucas’ charming boho wedding. On the last day of July, surrounded by all the people they love, Mary Kate & Lucas became man and wife. Their day was filled with laughter and dancing and it was such a beautiful way to wrap up July weddings.

Mary Kate & Lucas met at Franciscan University and were married in Mary Kate’s hometown. Mary Kate’s family owns a farm and so they held the reception right there in their backyard. There were yard games, a bounce house for the dozens of children in attendance, a playground, plenty of hidden conversation spots, and an abundance of good food that came straight from her family’s farm. It felt like a magical summer festival and everyone there was so excited to celebrate these two and their love for one another.

Near the end of the evening, we snuck outside the tent to catch the last few rays of the setting sun for some gorgeous sunset photos. There’s nothing like taking a few minutes to soak in the day as the sun sets behind you. These are definitely some of my favorite photos of the day!
