I feel like I start to sound like a broken record with each new wedding I share, but I just can’t help it! MaryKate and Tom’s wedding was incredible from beginning to end and it was an honor to be a part of it.
MaryKate went to Franciscan University with me and it was so fun to see her again and see how God has worked in her life since we graduated – especially by bringing Tom into her life. This day was surrounded by family, we started off at MaryKate’s childhood home and then after a precious first look, we went to the church, the same one where MaryKate’s grandparents were married. How special is it that MaryKate was able to have her wedding in the same church as her grandparents?
After the ceremony, we headed to a nearby park so we could take wedding party photos by the river. I had noticed a beautiful spot on the side of the road right by the park entrance, so after we finished the photos by the river I asked MaryKate and Tom if they would be willing to go to the spot I had seen. I’m so glad they said yes because those are some of my favorite shots of the day!
Their reception was held at Franklin Commons which was absolutely beautiful! I loved all the windows (so much natural light!!), the slight industrial vibes, and the twinkle lights. (Also I think I have my new favorite cake shot!)
Thank you MaryKate and Tom for trusting me to document your wedding!
Xoxo,
Mary Kate
