Nine years ago, a Michigan boy met a Pittsburgh girl at a highschool retreat at Franciscan Universisity. 

And almost a decade after God first introduced them to each other, on the first Saturday of October, Megan and Kevin finally became husband and wife. It was a glorious day – the weather was the most perfect fall day and the colors were amazing, but more importantly, the day was tangibly sacred. There was the sweetness of so many years of waiting and preparation. There was the joy and peace of following God’s will and knowing that this was what they were created for. And there was the beauty of their faithful and holy Nuptial Mass in the gorgeous Mount Saint Peter’s Roman Catholic Church. 

Megan and Kevin are SO kind and intentional. The type of people that make sure everyone is cared for and feels seen and it makes working for them feel like pure gift. After their Mass we went to their venue, Hillcrest Country Club, for their photos. Megan didn’t want their photos to really feel like a golf course setting, she really wanted a more woodsy setting for their photos, but their venue was the most logical place for the photos to happen. And lo and behold, we found a back corner of the golf course that looked nothing like a golf course and just looked like a gorgeous wooded area. With all the brilliant reds and oranges of the tress, their photos really turned out quite magical.
