On an unusually chilly Saturday in June, Megan walked down the aisle of her home parish, Immaculate Conception, with one arm on her father and her other arm holding on to her brightly colored bouquet. Her shoes somehow perfectly matched her flowers and trailing behind her was an exquisite cathedral veil. At the end of the aisle stood her soon-to-be husband, Zach, in a snazzy blue tweed suit, an epic beard, and love-filled eyes. Just behind him, a framed image of the Immaculate Conception hung on the arched blue wall behind the altar. Between the image of Mary behind the altar and a small statue of Mary in the room where Megan got ready, it felt as if the Blessed Mother was not just watching their wedding from afar, but actually present there with us.

Megan and Zach met on CatholicMatch and every step of their relationship has been so clearly guided by God. Their mutual love for the Catholic church and deep faith in God permeated through every aspect of their wedding day making for a peaceful and joyful atmosphere because it was all SO right and exactly as it should be.

Their reception at the Forest Lodge was held in an outdoor pavilion and all the decorations were impeccable. I couldn’t stop raving about all the florals! Megan’s mom is an avid plant lover and she actually propagated all the plants that they used as their favors, I was so impressed!
