Molly and Thomas’s wedding day was perfect. Ever since I did their engagement session last fall, I have been so excited about their wedding! I actually photographed Thomas’s sister’s wedding a few years ago and it was so fun to see their family once again. Molly chose a rust and navy color scheme and I loved how all the details came together for this wedding.

I started off the day with the girls and it was one of the most relaxed and peaceful mornings. Molly and Thomas wrote each other letters and their videographer had them read their letters out loud for their wedding video. Their letters were so incredibly beautiful and sacred and getting to be in the room as they read them was a gift. The love they have for one another is so pure and such a testament to the love of God.

After such a grace-filled and joyful morning, Molly and Thomas professed their vows to one another in St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church surrounded by their beautiful families and closest friends. After Mass, we drove out to the countryside to their venue, Crimson Lane. Crimson Lane is a white barn on a small pond surrounded by fields and trees and it was stunning. We rolled through their portraits and then started the reception. It was clear from their six different toasts that these two have impacted so many lives and are such wonderful examples of love and holiness to those around them.

Near the end of the evening, we snuck Molly and Thomas back outside for some sunset portraits. Although it was overcast and we didn’t get glowy sunset portraits, I am still obsessed with what we got. Queen Anne’s Lace was gently blowing in the wind all around them as the clouds above were tinted with the faintest hints of pink and orange and it made for magical summer evening portraits and the perfect way to end their day.

Molly and Thomas, I have loved getting to know you both and I am so honored that you chose me to be your photographer.
