My second engagement session last weekend took place in downtown Pittsburgh in the gardens and parks outside Phipps Botanical Garden. Our original plan was to go inside Phipps, but their strict photography policies meant a change of plans, but honestly, I am in love with how these turned out! Pittsburgh had just received it’s first real snowfall of the year and it made everything just a little bit more magical.

Patricia was one of my household sisters at Franciscan University and it was so good to see her again and catch up and to finally get to meet her fiancé, Mike. Patricia and Mike met online in 2018 and they fell in love while exploring Pittsburgh’s many museums and parks. These two have such a joyful zest for life and a beautiful go-with-the-flow attitude. It didn’t phase them at all that we had a quick change of plans and they were up for everything and anything I suggested, even running out into the middle of the road for an epic bridge shot.

Their laughter is contagious and their love for each other is so evident and I can’t wait to see them again at their wedding later this year!
