Where do I even begin? These engagement photos are easily my favorite ones I’ve ever taken: the lighting was perfection, the fall colors were spectacular, and these two are some of my best friends (you may have seen their faces on my blog before in some of my travel posts.) Taylor & Thomas made my job so incredibly easy. They were up for whatever I asked, from leaving the trail and climbing/slipping up a steep embankment because I was sure that those evergreen trees over yonder were going to make a perfect setting (the photos that ensued are my favorites from the session) to snuggling against the stack of canoes and everything in between.

They’ve been together since their freshman year of high school and over the last seven years, they have been through many highs and lows together. I have been so blessed by their friendship and their witness to authentic love. These two are both on fire for the Lord, they both love and serve others extraordinarily well, and they are both clearly very much in love with each other. It’s beautiful to watch them prepare for marriage and the beautiful life together God has planned for them and I am so stinking excited to witness them become husband and wife next June.
