I know that prepping for your engagement session can sometimes be a little overwhelming which is why I’ve pulled together three simple tips that will hopefully help make your outfit decisions a little bit easier! Most of my couples choose to have two outfits, one dressier and one more casual. This will give your session two different “looks”. If you choose to do this I recommend that you begin with your dressy outfit!

#1: Don’t try to MATCH

It’s better if you pick outfits and accessories that coordinate with each other rather than directly match. Choose colors that compliment one another and don’t be afraid to add in your favorite fun accessories.

#2: Keep the Patterns SIMPLE

Patterns are definitely ok, but try and keep it simple and only have one of you wear a pattern. Try to avoid patterns that are overwhelming and distracting.

#3: Make Sure You’re COMFORTABLE

This is probably the most important tip I can give you. Wearing an outfit that you are comfortable in and you feel yourself in will allow you to relax more easily and have fun!
