Hello my wonderful friends! I’ve spent the last couple weeks working on creating this brand-new website and blog and completely rebranding Mary Katherine Photography. I wanted a site and style that reflected me a little bit better so I figured a hand painted logo would do the trick. 🙂

My previous blog, This is Just My Temporary Home, has officially been moved to it’s new home here and my plan is to get back into a schedule of regularly blogging. (How many times have I said that before? Hmmm. But this time I really mean it. 😉 )

This past summer was one crazy adventure and I have so many stories and pictures to share from my time in Ecuador. Living for seven weeks in a South American country was challenging but incredibly rewarding. There were times when I definitely wanted to give up and just go home but the people that I met and my fellow team members were right there with me the whole time. We basically became one big family living in close community, sharing all our meals together, praying, studying, playing, laughing, crying, and working together. We met some amazing people and had some of the craziest experiences and I wouldn’t have traded this summer for anything.

More pictures and posts from my time in Ecuador and my time at home this past summer are certainly overdue and will be coming soon! But for now, welcome to my new little corner of the internet. And come back soon!! 😀
