I have been looking forward to Cara & Kenny’s wedding for awhile because Cara and I were friends while at FUS and worked in women’s ministry together for several years. It’s always a special thing when I am privileged to photograph a friend’s wedding and this was no exception!
This wedding day was a beautiful and intimate affair because they decided to postpone their wedding reception to later in the year. So it was only their immediate families that witnessed and celebrated their wedding with them.
We started the day at Cara’s parent’s beautiful historic home. I loved all the beautiful details in their home and it was a wonderful setting for Cara to getting ready in.
Cara and Kenny were married in a Traditional Latin Mass Ceremony with an amazing choir who did a truly incredible job with the music. After officially becoming husband and wife we headed to a nearby park for some portraits.
To cap off the day, Cara and Kenny had a fun little micro reception with their immediate families at Tuscan Kitchen.
Cara & Kenny, it was such a joy to celebrate with you two and I look forward to more celebrations in a couple months!
Xoxo,
Mary Kate
