Back in March, as everything was shutting down and government mandates were changing every day, Brooke & Scott were closely monitoring everything and hoping and praying that their April wedding would be unaffected. However, when they found out that all the Catholic Churches in MD were to be closed indefinitely, they decided to get married ASAP, unsure if it would be weeks or months before the churches would be reopened. So with just a few hours of notice, dressed in a simple white dress and ordinary suit, and with just their immediate families present, Brooke and Scott were married the very last night the churches were open in March.

Although already married, they still wanted to celebrate their wedding day with their family and friends, so they postponed their wedding day to August (miraculously all of their original vendors had the same Saturday date open) and decided to hold a vow renewal ceremony in the church they were married in followed by the reception they had originally planned.

Saturday August 8th dawned bright and beautiful and it was as if even the weather was rejoicing that Brooke & Scott had finally made it to this day! There was so much peace and joy and relief that their wedding day was finally here and that they were able to celebrate their marriage with so many of their loved ones present.
