One of my favorite new traditions at Christmas is to bake a whole bunch of fun and pretty Christmas cookie recipes and create epic cookie boxes for my neighbors and local friends. While I did this last year, I also didn’t have much time with how busy my December was so I chose simpler recipes that were less time-consuming. They still tasted amazing but they didn’t quite have the “wow factor” that I wanted.
This year I had much more time in December and I was able to compile a list of recipes, some tried and true favorites and some new ones, and spend a couple of days baking, decorating, assembling, and of course, photographing this year’s cookie boxes.
I ended up making seven different cookies for this year’s box and I’m going to link all the recipes at the end of the post! Hopefully, I’ll be able to repeat this tradition next year with some new recipes thrown in and another blog post maybe slightly closer to Christmas Day itself. 😉
Here are the recipes I used:
I hope this gives you some inspiration for your own Christmas cookie endeavors now or next year!
Xoxo,
Mary Kate
