After a 17 month engagement, a year long deployment and three different rescheduled wedding dates (and a change in location) due to the coronavirus, Erin & Ryan were finally married in Bloomington, IN this past Saturday. There was so much joy and relief that despite all the hurdles and difficulties they had been through, this day had finally come.

They were able to have their immediate families present at their wedding Mass while many, many other loved ones watched the livestream of their ceremony. After their ceremony we headed to the Indiana University Bloomington’s campus for their photos and then with their families they were able to have a celebratory dinner at a restaurant downtown. While it was not a typical reception by any means, they were still able to laugh and talk with their families and enjoy a meal together as well as have a beautiful wedding cake and a couple toasts.

Erin and Ryan, it was such an honor to celebrate with you two! Your love and joy are contagious and so needed in this world today. Thank you for your witness to what truly matters in this life: faith, love, and family.
