It’s finally time to share this beautiful Dec. 31 wedding! This wedding was filled with so much love and joy and it was so fun to end my 2021 wedding season with this one! You will quickly see how joyful Makilah is, her smile lights up every room she enters and she was one of the most thoughtful and kind brides. She was always checking to make sure everyone was happy and taken care of all day.

Their Mass was held in Saint Cyprian Catholic Church in Perry Ohio. One of my favorite moments was watching Joe while Makilah walked down the aisle. It was so precious!! After Mass we headed out to the grotto behind the church for their wedding party portraits and they all did so good in the cold (especially the little adorable flower girls!)

From there, we headed to Lake Erie to get Makilah and Joe’s portraits. Despite the cold and setting sun, these two were up for all the adventures and climbed up and over the rocks to get some epic portraits with the wintery lake behind them. Makilah was glowing and her dress, hair, veil, and amazing rose bouquet all created a stunning winter bridal look.

Their reception was held at the Perry Community Center and was such a fun time for their family and friends to celebrate together! Lots of dancing, champagne toasts, delicious food, and a NYE sparkler exit made for a perfect end to the day!
