My gorgeous cousin, Teresa, married her best friend, Conor, last Saturday at the Shrine of St. Anthony in Ellicott City, MD. I played the double role of photographer AND bridesmaid for the first time and I loved it! (Which is good since I’ll be doing the same thing again next June!) It would not have been possible to do both without the incredible help of Lauren from Lauren Emily Photography and Susan from Susan & Teresa Photography. These two ladies are not only talented but also just so fun to work with and be around! I was able to fully relax and participate in the day because I knew the photography was in good hands!

Teresa first met Conor a couple of years ago at the suggestion of another cousin of ours and their mutual love for music, dancing, art, and the Catholic Church instantly drew them together. I remember when I first met Conor that I knew something was different because Teresa was 100% herself around him and more joyful than I had seen her in a long time.

Last March Conor asked Teresa to marry him at the Shrine of St. Anthony and so it was only fitting that they got married in the same place. All of us girls were able to arrive at the Shrine a few hours early and get ready in the beautiful library. After the portraits and their Ceremony, we headed into Baltimore for their reception which was held at the John Hopkins Club, a gorgeous classy event space that was ideal for Teresa and Conor’s elegant and slight 20s style wedding.

It’s been so fun to be involved with so many aspects of planning and preparing for this day and it was an incredible thing to be able to stand at the altar and witness one of my dearest cousins proclaim her vows. And it brings me so joy to be able to share their wedding with all of you!

Teresa and Conor, I love you both! Conor, welcome to the family!!
