“The Lord Speaks to us in whispers and symphonies”. Anna’s best friend started off her maid of honor toast quoting something Anna had once told her on the streets of Rome when they studied abroad together and I truly believe that one line perfectly sums up Anna & Justin’s relationship and their wedding day.
From their Solemn High Latin Mass Ceremony to the antique and beautiful books that were artfully displayed throughout their reception, and their pure joy and love that shone forth in their portraits, Anna & Justin’s wedding reflected their mutual love for literature, language, and good old-fashioned silliness. (Side note: I have never seen a dance floor filled with so much hilariousness: seemingly out of nowhere, guests began popping on the craziest wigs and breaking out the moves and the laughter was contagious. It was one of the most enjoyable wedding receptions to be a part of.)
I actually had never met Anna and Justin before their wedding (which hardly ever happens), however, as soon as I showed up on Saturday morning, I knew right away that I was going to get along great with both of them and their families and I did!
Thank you so much, Anna & Justin, for giving me the privilege of photographing your wedding! I hope you enjoy reliving your beautiful day!
A huge thank you to all the other vendors who came together to make this day possible!
