(So per usual in my life, I have fallen a little (or a lot) behind in blogging. I still plan on sharing so much goodness from the fall, but since it’s winter and cold outside I thought it would be fun to just jump right into my winter weddings for now.)

On a cold and rainy December day just a few weeks before Christmas, Dean and Ashley became Mr. & Mrs. These two are some of the sweetest people on the planet and their joy and excitement on their wedding day was contagious and beautiful to witness.

Dean was in the seminary for quite a while before discerning out and deciding to head back to Franciscan University last fall. He was praying about marriage and wondering where God was going to lead him next. As it turns out, the very first person he met upon arriving on campus was Ashley who was working as one of the RA’s of the student apartments. During their engagement session, Dean was telling me the story of how they met and he said that he walked into the RA office and saw the most beautiful girl he had ever seen in his life and the rest is history.

It was such a joy and honor to photograph their wedding day!

I had to share the photo below because Christian (this bridesmaid) was one of my brides last June and Ashley was one of her bridesmaids! It’s so fun when my former couples are either guests or part of the wedding party for some of my other weddings! I love getting to see them again!
