Dakota & John || Earthy & Industrial Boho Pajama Factory Wedding

Weddings

Dakota said as soon as she found my Instagram account, she knew she had to have me photograph her wedding, and as soon as I saw all the colors and details for her wedding, it was clear why! We have a very similar love for natural elements and earthy tones and her and John’s style which is a little industrial, a little vintage, a lot of modern boho, and just a touch of old-school elegance fits my photography style like a glove.

But more than just their impeccable taste for style and design, Dakota and John are both very kind, generous, and hardworking individuals who love and cherish their family and friends so much and it was such an honor to be invited to be a part of their wedding day!

Their wedding was held at The Pajama Factory in Williamsport, PA. This old, you guessed it, pajama factory has been revitalized into the most amazing spaces. There are tons of art studies, a coffee shop, a woodworking shop, and various other small businesses that are found within this historic building. It was actually a bit of a maze and definitely took a few times to figure out how to get around! But it was also SO perfect for Dakota and John and their vision for their wedding!

We started the day with the girls in The Beauti Loft, also located within the Pajama Factory, and it was an amazing space to photograph the getting-ready portion of the day as well as some more portraits later on! The attention to detail in this space was amazing! Definitely, a dream getting ready space from a photographer’s standpoint!

The ceremony and reception took place in Clearstory, the main event space within The Pajama Factory. This large open space has all the old original windows and massive ceilings with unique industrial details and combined with their florist Kelsea’s incredible work, the space was a boho lover’s dream.

The night ended with a champagne tower and an epic dance floor with the best kind of chaos – I’m talking, rides around battery-operated little cars, scooter races, and lots of pampas grass “snow”. If that sounds confusing, just wait till the end of the blog post where you can find the pictures of the dance floor. 😉

Dakota and John, thank you so much for trusting me to document your wedding day! It has been wonderful getting to know you both!

Xoxo,
Mary Kate
