When two librarian book lovers get married, there has to be a library involved somehow, and if you are extra creative, the Dewey Decimal System makes the perfect unique seating chart. Which is precisely what Liz and Kris did.
Liz and Kris met while working at the Library of Congress in DC and share a deep love for the pursuit of knowledge and the world of books. Their wedding venue, the gorgeous Pen Ryn Mansion situated on the Delaware River, had the perfect moody library. The fact that it happened to be a wet, rainy October day just made the candlelit library vibe all that more cozy and perfect.
I first met Liz two years ago when I photographed her brother’s wedding. It is always such an honor when I am brought back to photograph another wedding within the same family! It was a great joy to see everyone again and get to work with their lovely family once more!
Liz and Kris, thank you for trusting me with capturing your beautiful wedding! It has been so great working with you two and I hope you enjoy this little recap of your day!
Xoxo,
Mary Kate
