This classy Northern Virginia wedding was the epitome of fall perfection. From the changing colors, the rolling vineyards, the crisp weather, the colors and decor, and everything in between, it was a glorious October wedding.

I started the day off with Madelyn and the girls at the cutest little airbnb just a few minutes down from the church. I love starting off with details because it gets my creative juices flowing and sets the tone for the rest of the day. One thing I love to do is find some way to incorporate the setting of the getting ready space into the details photos if possible. I ended up using an outdoor glass table from the back patio of this airbnb for their detail shots and I LOVE how I was able to show off the fall colors from the tree above the table. So fun! Once I finished up the details, it was time to get Madelyn dressed and then reveal her to her bridesmaids. From there we headed to the church where I took a few brief photos of Michael and his guys and then sent him inside to hide away while Madelyn had the sweetest first look with her Dad.

Their Mass was held at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Leesburg, VA, and was absolutely beautiful from beginning to end.

Once we finished Mass and family photos, we made a quick pit stop in downtown Leesburg for the first part of Madelyn & Michael’s portraits before heading closer to the mountains to their amazing venue, Cana Vineyards. We had some time before cocktail hour started so after getting the wedding party portraits done, we were able to go explore the vineyards with Madelyn and Michael for the rest of their portraits. And I am obsessed with how they turned out! I had such a hard time narrowing down which ones to share because I truly love them all.
