Nati & Ben || Vibrant & Joyous Wedding in New Jersey

Weddings

On the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima, Nati & Ben were married in a gorgeous historic Catholic church surrounded by their loved ones. Their day included lakeside portraits (with a gentle breeze gifting us with the most perfect flowing veil photos), a dramatic first dance, and a late night visit from an ice cream truck. Talk about a fun way to surprise your guests!

I started off the day at Nati’s parent’s house where Nati got ready in her childhood bedroom with her sister and mother. Once it was time, we headed to the church just a few blocks away. Their Mass was extraordinarly beautiful. First, there was the objective beauty of this particular church, (which you will see in the photos below) but secondly, there was an overwhelming peace and joy that filled the atmosphere of the Church that this was exactly what God had ordained for Nati and Ben. And then finally, the music itself was another source of incredible beauty. I wish you could hear the music while you scroll through these photos. Nati’s brother, Basilio (a talented Catholic musician) led most of the music for the Mass and then Ben’s sibling jumped in and brought us close to the Heavenly Banquet with their music right after Communion.

After Mass & family photos in the Church, Nati’s family had arranged a mini reception, a Toast, in the green space outside the church. With food, dessert, and champagne for all, it was a wonderful way to rejoice in the newlyweds before heading into pictures and the full reception later on.

For their portraits, we headed to a nearbye park along a lake which turned out to be a gorgeous backdrop for their pictures with the rich shades of green, the colorful bouquets, and Nati’s gorgeous dress and veil.

Their reception was held at Nati’s parent’s backyard under a big white tent with dozens of string lights and pops of color from all the flowers. Two highlights of the reception were their first dance when their DJ transformed the dancefloor with swirls of fog and spotlights and secondly, the ice cream truck that came later on for all the guests to enjoy!

Nati and Ben, it has been a joy to get to know you both and a priviledge to document your wedding day.

Xoxo,
Mary Kate
