Joey turned 6 years old last weekend and since I didn’t make it home for the March for Life (you know, because of the whole blizzard thing that attacked the east coast ;)) I was able to come home for his birthday.
We ended up taking all the kids to the Baltimore Aquarium for a fun afternoon to celebrate his birthday and it was definitely an adventure. Two adults with 7 kids between the ages of 13 and 10 months…we basically constituted our own little field trip group. Haha.
The kids had a blast, Lucy particularly loved finding Dory and Nemo in a couple of the tanks. I hadn’t been to the aquarium with my camera in a long time, actually this was the first time I went with my 5DmkIII so I had some fun playing around. It was also the first time in a while that I played with photographing non-human subjects. (At this point my camera mostly comes out for client shoots, weddings, and special events at home and I am trying to work on just bringing it out fun the way I used to…..wow, sorry, that was a random tangent. :P)

Mary Kate
"The exuberant joy of the candids, the elegance of the portraits, the regal and sacred shots of our wedding mass, all of it is simply breathtaking.
