Ilana and Marc’s wedding at the end of April was filled with glamour, sparkle, and elegance. Throughout the day, Ilana incorporated countless handmade touches that beautifully showcased her creativity and style. Her two bridesmaids wore gorgeous sparkling gowns that reminded me of The Great Gatsby, perfectly complementing the shimmering details in their handcrafted bouquets and the glowing centerpieces Ilana designed and created herself.

We began the day at her childhood home, where I photographed her details as her hair and makeup were finished. Her mom helped her into her dress, and as I headed out the door for the church, her bridesmaids and close friends had gathered to pray a rosary with her before the Nuptial Mass.

Their wedding took place at St. Vitus Catholic Church in New Castle, Pennsylvania. The choir loft sits off to the side, allowing for some unique and fun aerial angles of the church, and I especially loved the beautiful mosaic artwork behind the altar.

Following their Nuptial Mass, we explored a few locations around New Castle for portraits before heading to their reception at The New Englander. Some of my favorite images from the day came from the carefree moments they spent dancing together in the middle of the street, completely wrapped up in that infectious “we just got married” kind of joy.

Shortly before I left for the evening, we snuck outside for a few final portraits. There wasn’t much of a sunset, but there was a beautiful flowering bush that made the perfect backdrop for those last quiet moments together.

Ilana and Marc, thank you so much for trusting me to document your wedding day. It has been such a joy getting to know you both, and I’m so grateful to have been part of such a beautiful celebration!
