Gosh, where do I start with this wedding? Eden and Hunter’s Easter Saturday wedding was filled with SO much dang joy, and the best word I can use to describe the overall aesthetic of the day is regal!

The girls and guys both got ready at their venue, the historic George Washington Hotel in Washington, PA, and I had fun finding a unique spot for their details that was part of their venue space! Eden’s dress. Wow. One of the most detailed and biggest wedding dresses, I think I’ve photographed. It was unreal, and Eden looked like an absolute vision in it! I loved how Hunter’s green suit complemented her dress and spring bouquet so well and tied the whole vision together!

Their Nuptial Mass took place at St. Louise de Marillac Catholic Church in Pittsburgh, which had the most beautiful Easter flowers covering the sanctuary! (Perks of getting married within Easter week!) Probably one of my favorite photos from their whole wedding was when they stopped to pray at the Marian grotto in the back of the church right after processing out as husband and wife!

We headed back to the George Washington after Mass, and I took their portraits while my amazing second shooter, Grace Elizabeth, captured their cocktail hour and the reception details! Then it was time to get this party started! Something I’ve never seen before but LOVED was that Eden and Hunter chose to have an individual cake at each table as part of the centerpiece, and when they cut their cake, they invited all their guests to cut the cake at their individual tables – they even had a cake at our vendor table! It was such a fun and sweet way to invite their guests into the cake cutting and to make the dessert more interactive and readily accessible!
